The Laurel Condos and Retail:
The Laurel is reported to have completed its final stage of construction. The building is a mixed-use development consisting of 71 condominium units and street level retail stores.
For those of us living in Cherry Creek it seemed this project would never be fully completed, but the day has finally arrived. So if you are interested in purchasing one of the remaining condos in the building you will be living in an area of Cherry Creek that has significantly increased in population density over the past few years.
The increased density will increase foot traffic for retail businesses in the area, but also cause more traffic congestion. Clearly the hope is that Cherry Creek will offer lifestyle amenities that compel residents to stay in Cherry Creek for dining and retail sales experiences, and thus reducing the frequency of auto traffic.
