\"\"The Cherry Creek Theatre<\/span><\/strong> has began in 2010 with the vision of Mark Rossman and the theatre’s co-founder, Maxine Rossman, coupled with the collaborative efforts of many Cherry Creek North neighbors. That has enticed numerous people from all around the Denver Metropolitan area to enjoy many outstanding performances at the theatre.<\/p>\n

For six years Cherry Creek Theatre<\/a> <\/span>was located at the Shaver-Ramsey Gallery in Cherry Creek North.  The success of the theatre, due to the many superior performances resulted in the need for more space, and a new home was discovered at the MACC Pluss Theatre.<\/p>\n

Beginning in February, 2018, the second season of highly entertaining small theatre performances will begin. Many individuals and business have rallied around Cherry Creek Theatre to support the valuable entertainment that it brings to metro Denver, and specifically to the Cherry Creek area.<\/p>\n

The new season is about to begin, and the schedule will be as follows:<\/p>\n

Cherry Creek Theatre invites you to join us for our 2018 Season at the Mizel Arts and Culture Center (MACC), 350 S. Dahlia.  You will have the opportunity to attend 3 fantastic shows as well as experience special events created specifically for our season ticket patrons.  The GOLD Season Ticket includes RESERVED seating for all shows.  The Standard Season Ticket is general admission and it is suggested to arrive 1\/2 before curtain to select your flexible seating.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s more than just a story worth telling, it\u2019s a must-see and must-hear.<\/p>\n

A PICASSO \u2013<\/strong> April 5-29<\/em><\/p>\n

Paris, 1941. Pablo Picasso has been summoned from his favorite caf\u00e9 by German occupation forces to a storage vault across the city for an interrogation. His questioner: Miss Fischer, a beautiful \u201ccultural attach\u00e9\u201d from Berlin. Her assignment: discover which of the three Picasso paintings recently \u201cconfiscated\u201d by the Nazis from their Jewish owners are real. The ministry of propaganda has planned an exhibit, and only the great artist himself can attest to their authenticity. At first Picasso agrees to her request, confirming that the three pictures are indeed his own. But when Miss Fischer reveals that the \u201cexhibition\u201d is actually a burning of \u201cdegenerate art,\u201d Picasso becomes desperate to save his work and engages in a pressurized negotiation with the equally determined and wily Miss Fischer to hold on to two of his precious \u201cchildren\u201d while consigning the third to the flames. A cat-and-mouse drama about art, politics, sex and truth, with a twist at its climax.<\/p>\n

In early 2010, a study group of interested Cherry Creek, Historic Country Club, Cherry Creek East, business representatives, Denver City Council, local theater leaders convened to discuss the development of live theater in Cherry Creek. A theater interest survey was distributed to community residents & business owners & the 250 respondents gave their enthusiastic encouragement to the theater development.  After 6 very successful seasons at the Shaver-Ramsey gallery in Cherry Creek North, Cherry Creek Theatre is thrilled to begin our second season at the MACC Pluss Theatre, starting in February 2018.  We are proud to bring quality, thought-provoking, professional theatre to the Denver metro area.<\/p>\n
